Heidi's been wanted to go bike riding with me, but her old mountain bike was heavy and not a lot of fun to ride. We stumbled upon a hybrid bike at the new Concept Cyclery in Morgan Hill that was very light weight with a nice tire size for a decent price. The tires have a lot less rolling resistance than her mountain bike but more than my road bike. I guess that's why they call it a hybrid. But, most hybrids are fairly heavy (I think because the average user of a hybrid wants a very stable ride). Less weight means the ride is faster and steering is more "twitchy". Hopefully, this bike brings Heidi years of enjoyment. Now I just need to sell her mountain bike on Craigslist.

Heidi's New Bike
